Our Goals with Measurable Objectives

  • Intentionally invite friends and neighbors to join you in worship
  • Increase total worship attendance 10% a year to 486 by December 2012.

B.  How can we measure that we have reached our goal?
  • Grow Sunday worship attendance 10% per year from December 2007

  • Grow activity attendance 10% per year using an average total activity attendance at all activities of (see below) per year in December 2007 and reaching for (see below) by December 2012. (Identify the activities that will count and then keep baseline attendance for 2007. Multiply that number by 1.1 five times to get the target number)
  • Track new member growth each month

C.  Ideas we might consider to help us achieve our goal:

       1.  Congregational Care Committee
  • Develop form to track 2007 attendance and educate committees in its use.  These numbers to become a baseline for the activity attendance goal above.  Include the following committees as a minimum:

  • Train church officers/leaders on how to give legs to the three goals above.
